Description
Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) located in Farmington, New Mexico, is responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures using GE CT scanners. This role involves supporting trauma-related imaging, biopsies, and CT drainage, delivering high-quality diagnostics in a level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility and contribute to patient care across diverse populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Computed Tomography (R)(CT) and Radiography, current New Mexico licensure (can be obtained during onboarding), BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), a minimum of 2+ years of experience including prior travel experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma cases, biopsies, and CT drainage procedures is preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with GE CT scanners, including 64-slice, 32-slice, and 16-slice models. The selected candidate will operate within a busy trauma-level environment, supporting patient populations of all ages and backgrounds. Flexibility regarding occasional call duties is required. Submission requires a resume, submission form, area-specific competency exam, skills checklist, and a unit profile.
