Job Summary:
The healthcare facility in Tacoma, Washington, is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts. The position involves performing computed tomography procedures on patients ranging from birth to 18 years old, with a focus on providing high-quality imaging in a Level II trauma facility. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and compassion for pediatric patients and their families.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 40 hours per week starting on 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in CT; BLS certification; Washington State license; 1 year of experience preferably with pediatric patients
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Position Responsibilities: Performing CT scans using Siemens Definition Edge Biograph mct flow edge (PET/CT scanner). Providing compassionate patient care, maintaining high standards for image quality, and adhering to facility protocols.
- Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Patients aged 0-18 years with various diagnoses and conditions.
- Technology/Equipment: Siemens Definition Edge Biograph mct flow edge (PET/CT scanner)
- Additional Information: First-time travelers are welcome. The assignment involves limited on-call duties, potentially during off-hours on weekends, with no specified float rotation. Parking includes free garage and street parking options.
