Job Summary:
Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist in Weirton, West Virginia. This position involves performing a variety of fetal imaging studies, including obstetric ultrasound, small parts, and vascular ultrasound (upper and lower venous and arterial). The role requires the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on fetal experience and certification requirements.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with weekend rotations as scheduled, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, West Virginia license, unexpired drivers license, ARDMS and/or RVT certification, WV CARES certification prior to start, arterial extremity doppler experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Fetal experience is required. Experience with Siemens S2000 imaging equipment preferred.
• Additional Information: The department has three ultrasound rooms, performs approximately 35 scans per day, and does not require float coverage for other areas. The facility utilizes Community Works electronic medical records and Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS systems. The imaging director and manager oversee the department, with on-call radiologists interpreting scans outside business hours. The position involves starting IVs and wearing scrubs, which may be any clean, professional color. The department offers a department-specific orientation of five shifts with a preceptor.
