Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient position available in Chandler, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized occupational therapy services to adult patients in a neurological rehabilitation setting. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate recovery and improve patient independence.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in occupational therapy, current state license, 2-3 years of experience in inpatient or rehabilitation settings, ability to float to a nearby location if needed due to census.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adult neurological rehabilitation patients, familiarity with specialized equipment such as In-motion, Synaptic, EKSO, and VR.
- Additional Information: The therapy team oversees approximately 9 patients who may not be seen daily but are discussed during team conferences. The position involves working with adult patients with various diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, and amputation. Schedule reporting time is typically 7:00 AM for OT staff. The role is a replacement for perm staff, and parking is available onsite.
