Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This position involves providing respiratory care in a smaller, slow-paced healthcare facility. The role includes performing assessments, diagnostic testing, prescribed treatment, and patient care, primarily within a NICU/PICU setting. The candidate will need to handle both routine care and urgent triage situations, with an emphasis on evaluation and documentation.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification; must be able to draw arterial blood gases; experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) strongly preferred; no local travelers (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
  • Preferred Qualifications: AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Additional Information: Position requires maintaining accurate department records, evaluating treatment effectiveness, and responding quickly during triage situations. Orientation occurs biweekly. Candidates should provide available dates and times for interviews at the time of submission. Candidates previously employed at similar healthcare providers within the last six months are not eligible unless separated for at least six months.
