Job Summary:
The Springfield-based healthcare facility is seeking a Radiologic Technology professional specializing as a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist. This position involves performing diagnostic CT scans independently within the interventional radiology department. The role requires ensuring safety protocols are followed and maintaining high standards of patient care and technical proficiency throughout the assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 4x10 hours, 1:30 pm - 12:00 am, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), minimum of 1 year experience as a CT technologist in a hospital setting, with experience in stroke and trauma protocols.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with Emergency Room and inpatient patients.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, as mandated by the facility.
• Additional Information: The technologist will perform diagnostic CT scans, transport patients as needed, observe universal precautions, and utilize digital imaging equipment including GE CT scanners, workstations, and power injectors. The candidate must exhibit technical skill in cross-sectional anatomy, fluency in PACS/HIS/RIS systems, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
