Description

Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing high-quality Nuclear Medicine data to interpreting physicians in a busy, Level II trauma center environment. The position offers an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and serve a diverse patient population across all age groups, including Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients.

Job Details

  • Shift: 4x10-hour days, rotating days, with schedule varying based on department needs, including weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
  • Schedule: 6:30am - 5:00pm, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification from the American Association of Radiologic Technologists (AART) or Radiology Certification Identification System (RCIS), Nevada State License (must have NV license in hand before start date), BLS (AHA), and 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level II trauma center and familiarity with state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment.
  • Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to meet organizational needs, work major holidays, and pick up additional shifts as scheduled. The facility is a high-volume, fast-paced environment serving an 500-mile radius with specialized trauma and emergency services.
