Job Summary:
Johnson City, New York The healthcare organization is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The role involves supporting catheterizations, angioplasty, structural heart procedures, peripheral angiography, temporary pacemaker insertions, and ventricular assist device placements. The technologist will operate advanced imaging equipment, ensure safety protocols, and contribute to patient care and departmental quality assurance.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, including 1 night per week call and 1 weekend per month call
• Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, NYS Radiology Technologist license, ARRT(R), BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross), 3 years of cath experience
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Provides technical support for all Cath Lab procedures, operates advanced imaging equipment, ensures safety standards, instructs students and residents, performs equipment quality assurance checks, maintains supply inventory, demonstrates working knowledge of healthcare information systems, and supports accurate billing procedures. Responsibilities also include learning new techniques through educational activities and performing other duties as assigned.
