Description
Job Summary:
This is a Pediatric and Adult CT Technologist position located in Presque Isle, Maine. The role involves working in a 24/7 imaging department with rotating shifts, providing critical imaging services for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients. The position requires flexibility to support overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed, with a focus on cross coverage and support across various procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekend rotation and variable shifts based on departmental needs. No guarantee of days or nights throughout the contract.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification, Maine State license, BLS certification, 0 years of experience minimum.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CTA studies, general studies, IV start skills, biopsy experience, and familiarity with Siemens and GE equipment.
- Support on the Unit: Lead Tech, 2 techs during weekdays and evenings, 1 tech on weekends, with radiologist support onsite.
- Technology/Equipment: Experience with EMR systems (Cerner), PACS (Enterprise Imaging AGFA), and Siemens or GE imaging equipment preferred.
- Additional Information: Orientation period of 1-1.5 weeks, based on experience and comfort level. Scrub color is flexible but should be professional or as provided by the facility. Parking is free, and the department runs a 24/7 schedule with no specific guarantee of day or night shifts.
