Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist Registered Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This position involves providing advanced respiratory care, including airway management, mechanical ventilator management, and specialized procedures for pediatric and neonatal patients. The role requires independent functioning with minimal supervision and serves as a clinical resource within the team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC); at least two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical and technical procedures; ability to document clinical information effectively; effective communication skills; proficiency in mathematical reasoning; and the ability to interpret technical situations.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves working with NICU, PICU, and other pediatric patient populations, with responsibilities including airway management, ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and advanced procedures such as ECMO management, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient transport.
