Description
Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient position located in Redding, California. This role involves working within a hospital or healthcare facility environment, providing medication management and patient care across various units including NICU, Pediatrics, adult, geriatric, and oncology patients. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotation shifts of 10 hours with potential start times at 5:00 AM, 7:30 AM, and 10:00 AM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California Pharmacist license; Certifications in ACLS and BLS; two years of pharmacy experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pharmacy residency or Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS); experience in oncology infusion centers is advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Unit pharmacy includes 267 inpatient beds and 100 outpatient beds. Experience in sterile compounding and oncology infusion centers is preferred. No new graduates; ongoing unit orientation provided. The pharmacy operates 24/7 with coverage for all shifts, including days, evenings, and nights. Certification and license to submit are required.
