Description
Job Summary:
An X-ray Technologist position is available in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The role involves working in an emergency department, inpatient settings, and portable imaging, with opportunities to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging. The assignment is scheduled for daytime shifts with a standard full-time schedule, suitable for qualified technologists with varying levels of experience.
Job Details:
- Position: X-ray Technologist
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certification from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program, BLS and ARRT certifications, at least 1 year of experience in a level 1 trauma setting or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility, and comfortable working with Emergency Department, inpatient, and portable imaging.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment, evaluate images for technical quality, and perform competency check-offs for students.
- Equipment and EMR: Use of GE, Phillips, and CareStream imaging systems; EMR systems include EPIC and Sectra.
- Additional Information: Assigned to specific departments but expected to float as needed. Mask fit testing is required. The candidate must be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging.
