Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist position is based in Utah and involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations in accordance with department protocols. This role requires ensuring patient safety, preparing patients for scans, and accurately operating MRI equipment. The incumbent will also be responsible for selecting appropriate imaging techniques, administering contrast agents under supervision, and maintaining thorough documentation to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Swing shift, 5X8 schedule from 15:00 to 23:30, Monday through Friday. Weekends are not included.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT registered technologist. Current Utah State Licensure (for positions in Utah) in order to administer RX. Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Preferred Qualifications: MR registered by ARRT.
• Experience: At least 1 year of MRI Technologist experience.
• Schedule: Eight hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role includes responsibilities such as understanding and troubleshooting MRI equipment, adhering to safety policies, completing all required documentation, and demonstrating competency with contrast administration and electronic imaging systems. Post-hire expectations include meeting departmental IV certification competency within three months and completing required modules within six months of hire. This position involves standing, lifting, manual dexterity, hearing/listening, and seeing.
