Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist located in Warren, Michigan. This position involves performing computerized tomography (CT) radiological procedures on patients, including general diagnostic radiology examinations. The role requires providing patient care, preparing procedures, operating specialized imaging equipment, and ensuring high-quality image delivery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
- The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in performing CT procedures, patient preparation, clinical data review, intravenous contrast media administration, sterile equipment setup, radiation protection principles, and PACS image management.
- Additional requirements include effective communication, teamwork, patient sensitivity, and adherence to customer service standards.
- The role involves working in a hospital or ambulatory mobile unit, possibly exposed to radiation and high-voltage equipment, with potential for lifting and moving equipment or patients exceeding 10 pounds.
- Preferred experience and skills are aligned with the core competencies outlined above.
