Description
Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) at an outpatient imaging facility in Smyrna, Georgia. The position involves performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining quality control standards. The role requires effective communication with patients and healthcare team members to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 AM 7:00 PM. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid radiologic technologist license, ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology and less than 1 year experience in CT.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with all aspects of CT including patient positioning, exposure factors, radiation protection, anatomy and pathology knowledge, and competency in all Quality Control tests as per American College of Radiology (ACR) and manufacturer standards.
- Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and under pressure, and provide excellent customer service. The role requires attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and professional standards.
