Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Silverdale, Washington. This full-time night shift position involves providing respiratory care to mainly adult patients, with some pediatric cases through the emergency department. The role requires ventilator management, NICU experience, and the ability to perform ABG draws, BiPAP and ventilator setups, nebulizer treatments, and standby for conscience sedation and cardioversion.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0730; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); minimum of 2 years of experience; Washington State license required; experience with ventilator skills, NICU including bubble CPAP management (32 weeks and up), and strong level 2 nursery competency.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with strong NICU patients, capable of assisting with intubation but not required to perform independently.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The department uses EPIC charting system. Respiratory equipment includes PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis ventilators. The hospital maintains in-house intensivist or hospitalist coverage 24/7. All staff are expected to wear personal scrubs of any color.
