Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient care at a healthcare facility in Orange, California. The position involves providing rehabilitative services within a stroke-certified center and orthopedic cases, with no wound care required. The role requires a commitment to a 10-hour daytime shift and the ability to start as soon as possible.

  • Schedule: 10-hour days, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: California license in hand; minimum 3 years of experience; BLS certification; community hospital experience preferred; experience with acute care, orthopedic cases, and stroke rehabilitation; patient caseload approximately 10 patients per day; charting experience required (Epic system); able to work minimum 2 weekends per month; RTO must be included at time of submission; must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays.
  • Preferred Qualifications: LTAC and trauma level experience are preferred.
  • Additional Information:
    • Facility is a Magnet-accredited acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds.
    • The department offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and radiology.
    • Daily census in the physical therapy department is approximately 110 patients, with about 10 visits per day.
    • Float may be required within facilities in the state.
    • The candidate must have LA fire card within the last 30 days.
    • References: Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
    • The assignment requires detailed background checks and license verification before start.
