Description
Job Summary:
This position is for a CT Technologist in Seattle, Washington. The role involves covering night shifts and requires independent operation of the CT scanner during overnight hours. The candidate will work with a dedicated CT assistant and is responsible for performing imaging procedures primarily on adult patients, with occasional pediatrics. This is a contract assignment scheduled to begin on August 24, 2026, with a focus on providing high-quality imaging services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, Friday through Sunday, with on-call voluntary but appreciated.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of clinical experience as a CT Technologist. Certification in ARRT (Computed Tomography and Radiography), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Washington State license in hand.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma or high-acuity center experience. Experience with abdominal, chest, brain, vascular CTA, and other advanced imaging procedures using GE or Siemens equipment. Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS.
- Skills: Ability to perform contrast studies, manage adult and occasionally pediatric cases, operate PACS, and handle advanced imaging procedures such as multiplanar reconstructions and vascular imaging.
- Additional Information: The role involves solo overnight operation of the CT scanner in the Emergency Department, with support from a CT assistant. The facility sees approximately 25 cases daily. New travelers must have at least one year of experience and be within 50 miles of Seattle, Washington. Candidates should be able to work independently and commit to a minimum of 36 hours weekly, including holiday coverage.
