Description
Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient in LODI, California. This position involves verifying and filling medication orders, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information, identifying and troubleshooting medication safety hazards, documenting interactions for medical review, and supervising support personnel. The role supports clinical pharmacy functions within an inpatient setting, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of school of pharmacy, Pharmacist license in the state of practice, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or HeartCode ACLS (HACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) or HeartCode BLS (HBLS) or Healthstream Basic Life Support (HS-BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or HeartCode PALS (HPALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS); 1 year of experience is preferred, but not required
- Preferred Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, inpatient clinical pharmacy experience, additional licensure or certifications as needed for the duties
- Additional Information: The pharmacist will process, verify, and distribute medication orders in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. They will participate in clinical rounds, medication management activities, and formulate recommendations to improve pharmacy services. Compliance with vaccination policies and participation in department programs are required.
