Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is located in a healthcare facility where the role involves assisting with all electrophysiology (EP) procedures within the catheterization laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for scrubbing and documenting cases, monitoring cases, and supporting physicians with EP procedures, utilizing EP recording systems. This role requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience and involves rotating shifts with on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, either 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with the possibility of shift rotation. Shift start date is 09/21/2026, and the assignment concludes on 12/21/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT - Certification in Interventional Radiology). A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related setting is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, electrophysiology procedures, PVC, PT, Crio or transseptal ablations, laser lead extractions, device work, and EP recording systems such as Toshiba, Carto, and Abbott.
• On-Call and Weekend Requirements: On-call hours are from 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with call response time within 30 minutes. Call shifts are approximately 5-6 days per month, including weekends and holidays, with coverage extending to the entire holiday if it coincides with a weekend.
• Other Details: Must work exclusively within the catheterization lab and electrophysiology suite. Scrub dress code is OR scrubs provided daily. The unit provides specific orientation for new staff. The work environment is acute care.
• Additional Information: The role involves scrub and assist with cases, monitor and circulate during EP procedures, and use EP recording systems. Experience with advanced cardiac devices and electrophysiology equipment is essential.
