Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position entails performing general, vascular, obstetric, gynecological, small parts, and ultrasound-guided invasive procedures within a dynamic healthcare environment. The role involves assisting with a broad range of ultrasound services, supporting patient care, and collaborating with the radiology team during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S) required; BLS certification; 2 years of experience preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with invasive procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis, general, vascular, obstetric, and gynecological studies, and familiarity with ultrasound equipment and hospital EMR systems
  • Support within the Department: Guest services/transport for inpatient and observation patients; radiologists onsite 7 days per week from 0800 to 1700; radiologist pass onsite weekdays from 0700 to 1630 and weekends from 1200 to 1630
  • Technology/Equipment: EMR: Epic; RIS: Epic Radiant; PACS: Philips iSite; Department-specific equipment includes Siemens Sequoias, Parks FlowLab, Trophon
  • Orientation: Administrative onboarding including Epic and policy review (1 day); departmental orientation as needed (2 to 10 days)
  • Other Notes: Scrub color: Black; Parking: Employee designated surface lot and parking decks available at no cost
