Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray technology is needed in the Montana area. This position involves performing radiographic procedures to obtain diagnostic images according to physicians' specifications. The role includes patient transfer, ionizing radiation procedures, and assisting with the examination process, all within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Location: 1233 N 30th St, Billings, Montana, 59101
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), CT certification, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and experience performing radiographic procedures, patient positioning, image quality evaluation, sterile technique, infection prevention, radiation safety measures, ability to operate X-ray imaging equipment, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: No float rotation required.
- Additional Information: The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, operate imaging equipment, educate and position patients, evaluate image quality, and follow radiation safety guidelines. The role involves supervising and evaluating student radiographers and ensuring compliance with infection prevention policies.
