Job Summary

The specialty of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist at a healthcare facility located in Savannah, Georgia, involves providing specialized technical support in a high-volume interventional cardiology environment. The role focuses on assisting with complex cardiac procedures, including RHC/LHC, PCI, CTO, TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, PFO closure, ASD/VSD closure, TVP placement, and device management. Candidates are expected to have experience with critical care and cath lab procedures to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week with call responsibilities
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Radiologic Cardiac Interventional Specialist (RCIS), with experience in critical care and cardiac catheterization laboratories using systems such as EPIC Cupid. It is preferred that candidates have experience with RHC/LHC, CTO, and complex interventional procedures, as well as structural heart experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex PCI, CTO, TAVR, TMVR (Mitral Clips), Watchman, PFO, ASD/VSD closures, Impella CP & RP, and IABP. Knowledge of hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines is advantageous.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit is a Level 1 Cardiac Care designated facility and hub for cardiac care. It features advanced equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, DFR, FFR, Rotablator, IABP, Impella, and TVP.
