Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) will operate CT equipment and perform imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Based at a medical center in Portland, Oregon, this role involves producing detailed cross-sectional images to assist in medical diagnosis, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring equipment functionality.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); advanced certification in CT; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT).
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CT in Oregon and Hawaii, or in California; additional experience with solo work and IV start ability.
- Essential Functions: Assess, plan, and implement care for patients from adolescence through geriatric; produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images; utilize PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer; maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA; perform routine maintenance of imaging equipment and manage supplies.
