Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technologist - General Ultrasound, located in Reno, NV. This position involves performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures in various modalities, including cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound, under the supervision of a physician and department leadership. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to industry, federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (offering RCS or RVS) and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (offering RDMS, RVT, RDCS), CPR certification upon hire, minimum three years of clinical experience in the respective department, experience in breast imaging, biopsies, and whole breast ultrasound, prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in performing invasive ultrasound techniques such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies; ability to perform ultrasound-guided line placements and thrombin injections.
• Additional Information: The candidate may be required to float to different departments or nursing floors based on organizational needs and may be asked to pick up additional shifts during scheduled periods. The position involves maintaining equipment, participating in accreditation processes, mentoring students, and performing ultrasounds in accordance with established protocols and standards. The start date for this assignment is 08/24/2026.
