Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Richland, Washington. This position involves working in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a Level 2 regional trauma center, providing specialized respiratory care to diverse patient populations, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults. The role requires flexibility to float between units and independent work within complex clinical environments.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state license, at least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist Registered, pediatric respiratory therapy experience, certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, or ENPC, and experience with adult critical care, neonates, and trauma units.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level 3 NICU and Level 2 trauma center.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units; flexibility is essential.
- Additional Information: Must be able to work independently within a NICU environment, with highly preferred experience in Bunnell Jet Ventilation. Candidates should be prepared to work during designated holidays and adhere to scheduled RTO requests. Prior experience working at a facility within the specified geographic radius and valid compact license in hand at submission are required. References covering the last 3 years are required.
