Job Details:

• Position: Radiation Therapist
• Location: San Jose, California
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: License/Certification requirement, including BLS (Basic Life Support), ARRT-RTT (Registry in Radiation Therapy), and CRT-T (Certified Radiation Therapist)
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures involved in operating modern radiation therapy equipment including simulation, imaging, and treatment procedures; knowledge of human anatomy and proper patient positioning; safety and quality control principles; training, coaching, and mentoring techniques; scheduling and billing procedures; clinical reasoning and assessment; leadership and communication skills; ability to establish cooperative working relationships
• Additional Information: The role involves performing patient simulations, delivering treatments, maintaining safety protocols, assisting with equipment calibration, and ensuring accurate documentation of treatment records. The position requires effective communication skills for patient education and team coordination.
