Description
Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistants in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include administering various procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices, while documenting patient progress and communicating treatment plans effectively.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift with 8 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: One year of Occupational Therapist Assistant experience, Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience, Oklahoma State Licensure/Registration, COTA license, and Education Requirements as applicable
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The role involves participation in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and required trainings. Candidates should adhere to NBCOT / AOTA and state practice acts, maintain accurate documentation in the electronic record, and assist in supervision of students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
