Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) position available in Hilo, Hawaii. The role involves providing respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations, including airway management, ventilator support, and physician consultation. The position requires working the day shift with three twelve-hour shifts per week, beginning on 09/21/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Hilo, Hawaii
• Schedule: Day shift (0630-1900), three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
• Required Qualifications: Current Hawaii respiratory therapist license or application submission, minimum 2 years of experience caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, BLS, ACLS, PALS with NRP preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Hawaii license holder upon start date.
• Specific duties: Provide continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management, support, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
• Equipment utilized: Computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60 ventilator, Para Pac Transport Vent.
• Additional Information: Candidate must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment. No first assignments.
