Description

Job Summary:

Yuma, Arizona The organization is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient care at an acute care facility. This role involves working with a diverse caseload, including total joints, cerebrovascular accidents, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and sepsis. The physical therapist will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care in ED and medical-surgical areas, adhering to clinical standards and interdisciplinary communication protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Arizona PT license in hand/active; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; understanding of pathology, lab values, interdisciplinary communication; at least one year of experience outside of clinicals.
  • Preferred Qualifications: No additional preferred qualifications specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Start date is 10/05/2026; unit notes specify that start dates are not flexible and there is no more than 5 days of return-to-others (RTO).
