Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in inpatient care within a healthcare facility in Bishop, California. The position involves providing outpatient orthopedic therapy with minimal inpatient/acute care duties, primarily focusing on outpatient orthopedics, general deconditioning, balance and fall prevention, and other diagnoses based on the therapist's skills. The role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to work with diverse patient populations.

Job Details:

• Location: Bishop, California
• Schedule: 4 days per week, from 0800 to 1830, with one weekend per month on call from 0700 to 0900
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program, hold a current California Physical Therapist license by the start of the contract, and maintain BLS certification within 2 months of hire and ongoing. Must have outpatient orthopedic experience, basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Intranet), and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient/acute care experience (training/mentoring provided if needed), additional PT specialty experience such as pelvic health, vestibular rehabilitation, outpatient neuro rehabilitation, pediatrics, and/or lymphedema.
• Additional Information: The position involves outpatient orthopedics primarily, with minimal inpatient/acute care responsibilities. Flexibility to float to other units as needed for inpatient/acute care. The role includes direct patient care, documentation, and interaction with the healthcare team.
