Description

Job Summary:
This position is for a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The role involves operating GE Optima 660 and GE X-Ray equipment within a 47-bed acute care facility that serves patients of all ages. The technologist will perform contrast administration, drainage studies, fluoroscopy, trauma studies, triple-phase studies, venipuncture, and other specialized procedures. Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays, and the position is a replacement for permanent staff.

Job Details:

  • Location: 3917 West Road, Los Alamos, NM 87544
  • Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Openings: 1
  • Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly
  • Required Qualifications: Associate degree, ARRT certification, CT credential, and valid licenses for CT Technologist in New Mexico. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in CT.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with contrast administration, drainage studies, fluoroscopy, trauma studies, triple-phase studies, venipuncture, and guided biopsies.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment. All clinical staff must have required certifications submitted at the time of application, as certifications are not available on-site. Travel employees may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for background check results, but must be supervised as per state requirements. Compliance involves fingerprinting and background checks through the New Mexico Department of Health portal.
