Description
Job Summary:
The location is seeking a licensed Echo Sonographer in the Ultrasonographer Echo specialty for a day shift assignment. This role involves providing high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and related structures, assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work independently while ensuring patients receive compassionate and efficient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid registration as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); 6 months of advanced training in Cardiac Ultrasound, with previous echocardiography experience; ability to read, write, and communicate in English; good communication skills; ability to work under pressure; high technical aptitude; capable of working independently; tactful, compassionate, consistent, and highly dependable.
- Additional Information: The role requires adherance to Standard Echo Protocol of the lab, maintaining accurate records and participating in ongoing educational activities. The candidate must be prepared to perform emergency studies and ensure the cleanliness and restocking of equipment after each patient, following all safety and quality standards.
