Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves assisting physicians with invasive cardiac procedures, coordinating care within the lab, and providing patient support. The technologist will independently operate radiographic and ancillary equipment, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to facilitate diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac interventions. Strong communication skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology in electrophysiology and interventional cardiology are essential.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week starting 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an approved AMA school of Radiologic Technology; AA degree preferred or proof of a formal training program if RCIS certified; experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory; registration with the ARRT or RCIS certification with proof of completed training program; Maryland state radiologic technology license or RCIS certification; BLS and ACLS certifications; knowledge of anatomy and physiology within Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiology and/or Electrophysiology.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment experience with any facilities within a Johns Hopkins system, with at least one full year since employment if applying as a traveler.
- Additional Information: The role requires familiarity with guidewires and catheters used in cardiac procedures, as well as experience operating imaging and ancillary equipment within the discipline. Candidates may need to participate in on-call coverage depending on operational needs.
