Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Easton, Maryland. This position involves performing general, obstetric, and abdominal ultrasound procedures at a healthcare facility. Responsibilities include working independently with minimal supervision, utilizing advanced imaging skills, and maintaining compliance with established protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS AB, and ARDMS OB/GYN. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, including proficiency in general/OB/abdominal procedures, breast certifications and/or experience, and the ability to work independently without radiologist supervision.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma level I and II settings, and previous travel experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between the MHE Hospital and DIC OP center, both located in Easton, Maryland, approximately 1 mile apart.
- Additional Information: This role requires excellent charting skills using EPIC, with a patient ratio of 1:1. The facility supports adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. Orientation consists of 40 hours.
- Community Hospital Experience: Required.
- Certifications and Licenses: Active MD or Compact License at time of submission is required. Candidates must possess a CPI certification, with the Calm Every Storm online version accepted.
- Other Requirements: Must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special requests. Candidates must complete onboarding labs within 72 hours of signing the contract and submit compliance documents five days prior to start date.
