Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) specializing in pediatric respiratory care is needed in Deming, New Mexico. This night shift position involves providing cardiopulmonary services, including assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures, maintaining airways, ventillator management, and conducting pulmonary function tests. The role is designed to support clinical coverage during scheduled hours, with an emphasis on independent practice and adherence to medical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; RT license and registration; minimum 2 years of critical care experience; ability to work independently; at least 2 years of prior travel experience; no local candidates accepted; the respiratory therapist must be either registered or certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care to provide cardiopulmonary services.
• Additional Information: Position is to provide coverage for employee on Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), ensuring continuous care. The role involves following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies in delivering timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients.
