Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technician specializing in general ultrasound procedures is needed at a healthcare facility located in Winchester, Virginia. The position involves providing ultrasound imaging services across various patient populations, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, in a hospital setting. This role requires competency in general imaging ultrasound, venous extremity, neonatal head, and OB procedures such as Biophysical Profiles.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift, Fri, Sat, and Sun, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (AHA only) and ARRT Certification; 2+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging; location in Winchester, Virginia; experience with neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in hospital settings.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with general imaging ultrasound, venous extremity, neonatal head, and OB procedures such as Biophysical Profiles.
  • Additional Information: The position is full-time with a minimum assignment duration of 13 weeks, with a preference for extending up to 26 weeks. The role involves working in a hospital with a 495-bed capacity, providing ultrasound services to Emergency Department, inpatient, and Labor & Delivery units. Successful candidates must adhere to the hospitals dress code policy, preferring scrubs in Caribbean Blue color.
