Job Summary
A CT Technologist position is available in Roswell, New Mexico. This assignment involves performing all computed tomography (CT) exams and X-ray procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires a focus on delivering timely diagnostic imaging services under departmental protocols, with schedule options including 4-day workweeks or 5-day workweeks.

Job Details

• Location: Roswell, NM 88201
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, weekends only (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, call required (rotating)
• Required Qualifications: Certifies as a CT Technologist, graduate of an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) school, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), licensed by the state as a general radiographer, and proficient in basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. Must possess at least 2 years of experience, NM state license or CT certification, and BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient and outpatient general & obstetric (OB) experience, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, surgical/sterile procedures, and experience with contrast media procedures.
• Additional Information:
  • Maximum time off requested (RTO) is 1 week.
  • EMR system used is Cerner Change Healthcare with PACS system.
  • No floating required.
  • Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
  • Scrub color: navy blue.
  • Shift hours may be adjusted for 4x10s or 5x8s.
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic CT scans including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
