Job Summary:
The location is in Jackson, Michigan. This position is for a CT Technologist specializing in computed tomography procedures at a healthcare facility. The role involves performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, including administering intravenous contrast media, assisting with complex sterile procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, patient care focus, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Applied Science in Radiology; valid BLS certification; must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and have the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or be registry-eligible; at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting; peripheral IV insertion experience or willingness to obtain training; strong communication and customer service skills; physical capacity for working in a hospital environment, including lifting and moving equipment or patients over 10 pounds.

• Additional Information: The role requires adherence to radiation protection principles, including shielding and ALARA techniques. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality image delivery into PACS, completing all study documentation in the radiology information system, and reviewing clinical protocols with radiologists. Candidates must demonstrate teamwork, initiative, and flexibility, and be committed to ongoing learning. The position may involve working in fixed hospital units or mobile units, with exposure to radiation and high-voltage equipment managed with proper precautions.
