Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) is needed in a healthcare setting in Marietta, Georgia. The position involves providing critical care services for pediatric patients. This role requires a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional to work during night shifts, with regular weekend commitments, in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire: BLS (Basic Life Support) or ARC-BLS (American Red Cross Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ARC-ALS, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ARC-PALS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or ARC-NALS, NBRC-RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner), along with 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care. Ability to communicate well, critical thinking skills, proficiency with databases, and excellent customer relation, assessment, and communication skills are necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic documentation and adult critical care.
- Additional Information: The position predominantly involves critical care for pediatric patients. Standard 12-hour shifts are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. Preference is for weekends only, but candidates must be available every other weekend. The setting involves working with various documentation and clinical systems.
