Description

Job Summary:
The facility is seeking an experienced Mammographer (Mammo Tech) for a full-time position located in Oakland, California. The role involves performing digital mammography procedures across multiple locations, including mobile van services. The Mammographer will work primarily during daytime shifts, with occasional Saturdays, supporting outpatient and inpatient imaging needs.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, with occasional Saturday shifts, typically working 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), California State Mammography Licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist, graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school, 2 years of imaging experience, valid California State License, and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with digital mammography, Hologic 3D equipment, and working across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Float: Will rotate between facilities and may float to mobile van services, with transportation provided.
  • Additional Information: The Mammographer will perform diagnostic, screening, and advanced mammography procedures across three different locations, including mobile services. The role requires adherence to safety protocols such as universal precautions. All candidates must complete required onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and submit all compliance documentation 10 days prior to start date. References must be obtained within the last year, and a maximum of 7 days of return to base travel time is allowed.
