Description
Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in an outpatient setting. The role involves performing routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with the physicians treatment plan, ensuring safe and accurate patient care. The position requires a flexible shift starting between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM, with a focus on delivering precise treatments and providing excellent patient assessment and communication.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (RTT), valid California State License, at least 2 years of radiation therapy experience, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Elekta Infinity, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be flexible with shift start times, with working hours between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Must demonstrate competence in performing personalized radiation treatments, including IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and respiratory gating techniques. The assignment spans from 08/31/2026 to 11/30/2026, with all compliance documents due 10 days prior to start. Orientation hours will be scheduled as needed, and candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
