Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo position is based in Fargo, North Dakota. This role involves performing inpatient and outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms, with occasional stress and transesophageal echocardiograms. The position offers a day shift schedule and requires clinicians to rotate between two campus locations, with an orientation process designed to familiarize staff with protocols and expectations.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM
  • Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited program with at least 3 years of experience, RDCS or RCS certification, ND MIRT (or willingness to obtain), active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, PEDS experience as applicable, and specific licensures and certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Philips Epiqs, Affinity, IE33, GE E95, Vived E9 machines; reporting systems including Epiq Cupid and Sectra Cardiology PACS.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Staffed at two separate campus sites with rotation, never within the same day.
    • Orientation process involves clinic training followed by hospital orientation lasting no longer than two weeks.
    • All clinicians must badge in and out at each facility.
    • Scrub color is gray.
    • Must note if clinician has previously worked for the organization, with an end date at least six months prior to submission.
    • Client may cancel assignments up to 12 hours in advance every 13 weeks.
    • Charting is done via systems other than those listed.
    • No BSN required.
    • License to submit required.
    • Trauma level 1, with an acute care setting.
