Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient (Specialty: PHARM IP) in Wisconsin The healthcare provider is seeking an inpatient pharmacy professional to join a critical access hospital environment. The role involves providing pharmaceutical care in a facility with emergency department, intensive care unit, medical/surgical, behavioral health, infusion, and surgical centers.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shifts from 06:30 to 19:00 (12-hour shifts with 30 minutes unpaid lunch) or 08:00 to 16:00, with self-scheduling potential to support work-life balance.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Pharmacy Licensure in good standing, BLS Certification, minimum of 1 year of experience, and recent acute hospital experience.
• Responsibilities: Review medication orders for appropriateness, provide pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing, participate in medication reconciliation and discharge education, oversee pharmaceutical compounding compliance with USP 797 and USP 800, and operate Omnicell medication dispensing systems.
• Certifications: BLS Certification.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays.
• Additional Information: Department-specific orientation provided. No on-call requirement. The pharmacy utilizes EPIC charting system. The facility provides an acute care setting focused on clinical pharmacy services.
