Description
Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Philadelphia, PA. This position involves performing a variety of nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography (PET) procedures, including whole body imaging for oncology, nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, gastrointestinal imaging, thyroid imaging, and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). The role requires administering radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with imaging protocols within a department staffed by six technologists. The position offers a standard daytime schedule with no call, floating, weekends, or holidays.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications & Education: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (N), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) as per requirements; completion of an AMA-approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program.
- Experience: 5 years of related experience required.
- Licenses: Valid Technologist (N) certification or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Additional Responsibilities: Performing pharmaceutical and instrument quality control; maintaining records for state and federal agencies.
- Start Date: 08/31/2026.
- Location: 3401 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
