Description
Job Summary:
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP Pediatrics) position located in Everett, Washington. The role involves providing outpatient speech therapy services to pediatric patients in a comprehensive maternity and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. The start date is ASAP, with a preference for candidates possessing at least one year of experience in pediatric speech-language pathology.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), at least 1 year of experience as a speech-language pathologist in pediatrics, and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Charting Systems, particularly EPIC, and prior outpatient pediatric therapy experience.
- Additional Information: The position will work in an outpatient setting at a Level II trauma center with a total of 571 staffed beds across both campuses. The role provides interdisciplinary support, including social services, and involves treatment of children from neonates to adolescents with various developmental and speech disorders. The clinician can be called off for one 8-hour shift per two-week period, and must be flexible to work in a pediatric outpatient environment with a focus on developmental delays, speech and language therapy, autism, and other pediatric conditions.
