Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specialized in X-ray imaging, located in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging exams on patients across all age groups, utilizing diverse radiographic equipment and techniques. The role supports high-quality patient care through technical expertise and troubleshooting, contributing to the overall efficiency of imaging operations within a healthcare organization.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, starting on 09/14/2026, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as an ARRT Radiologic Technologist (R), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, and Wisconsin State license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I and II trauma experience, experience with electronic medical record systems such as Epic, and prior inpatient radiology experience.
- Additional Information: Perform a wide range of imaging procedures including abdomen decubitus, chest series, extremities, fluoroscopy, portable exams, and contrast media administration. Troubleshoot technical issues, participate in quality assurance, and adapt quickly to patient restrictions and pathology. Travel is required; travelers must float as needed and be located within 50 miles of the facility. A telemetry exam is required with strict pass criteria, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart blocks.
- Location: 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792. Permit required through UW Transportation; alternative transportation options available.
