Description
Job Summary:
Radiology Technologist specializing in X-ray procedures is needed in the Iowa City area. This role involves supporting a variety of radiologic services including plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams. The technician must have proficiency with Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, OEC C-arms, and the Medtronic O-arm, with a focus on operating room experience, particularly with C-arms and O-arms.

- Shift Hours: 10 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)
- Licenses: Active Iowa radiology license highly preferred, candidates with attestation will be considered (turnaround time 1-3 weeks)
- Experience: 24 months of current X-ray experience required, with hospital/medical center experience prioritized; experience with Siemens fixed equipment; use of Carestream portable units and GE OEC C-arms required; surgery fluoroscopy and operating room experience required; support across all age groups; pediatric experience and Level I trauma experience preferred; Level II trauma experience required; current/recent operating room experience necessary; proficiency with all age groups shift dependent highly preferred.
- Schedule: Nights, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours weekly, start date 09/08/2026.
- Additional Requirements: Must have skills specific to Radiology Technologist / X-Ray discipline, a valid drivers license, and professional references from within the past 24 months.
