Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in Winchester, Massachusetts. This position involves delivering radiation treatment to patients with cancer using a linear accelerator, specifically the Truebeam Edge Linear Accelerator. The role requires experience in patient care involving electrons and photons, with proficiency in Epic electronic health record system. The Radiation Therapist will work with a treatment delivery team in a facility that provides care for a patient population with cancer, adhering to treatment protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) with ARRT certification, valid MA license, Epic experience, no more than 6 months separated from previous employment, and must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Truebeam Edge Linear Accelerator, radiation oncology treatment delivery, and working in a 1:13 patient ratio environment.
• Additional Information: The facility operates a radiation oncology treatment unit with a patient care focus on cancer. Patient treatments involve electrons and photons, utilizing treatment protocols and safety procedures conforming to radiation safety standards. No weekend, on-call, or local candidates accepted for this role.
