Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging is available in the Minnesota area. This position involves producing high-quality images for interpretation by physicians, in accordance with departmental standards. Candidates must demonstrate competence in a variety of imaging equipment and adhere to safety guidelines while providing excellent patient service. The role offers flexibility in work locations and shift times, supporting optimal patient care.
Job Details:
- Produces high-quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Radiology Departments.
- Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology.
- Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients.
- Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
- Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
- Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths.
- Performs other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, primarily day shifts, with potential variation based on department needs. Includes every other weekend 12-hour shifts.
- Required Skills & Experience: Organized, efficient, and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Preferred Skills & Experience: Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred, particularly in CT scanning (Siemens preferred), venipuncture, Bayer Medrad injector, general imaging, and Epic electronic medical record.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- Certifications & Licensure: ARRT certified in Radiography and appropriate state licensure (if required). BLS certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred.
